Knowing the destination of a short URL with Firefox

It is rather the fashion now to use and publish "Short URL", which are in fact URLs shortened.  The problem is that we are never sure of the link target and may lead us a little anywhere without our knowledge.

Having been confronted with it recently, I found a solution that allows Firefox to avoid this concern. The site allows LongURL.org to see a larger version of these URLs short, so you know where it takes you.The trick is that each time would pass through this site and paste the address ... but it is possible to avoid this step.

  The extension LongURL Mobile Expander you will know exactly what actual URL is targeted by the short URL, without having to go through LongURL.org: the address will appear simply overview of the link.
